The St. Mary’s County Tennis Association is hosting the 4th Annual Team Tennis Tournament on Saturday, June 17th at St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a start time of 12:00 noon!
In a unique format used by World Team Tennis and the Washington Kastles and modified for our local community, 2 men and 2 women team up to play in 5 divisions: Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The entry fee is $100/4 member team.
Each player plays in 2 divisions per match in a short set format. Three matches and lots of tennis guaranteed! Team divisions will be based on the total of each team's combined NTRP rating and the total number of entries (maximum of 12 teams). Match wins are determined by the team winning the most games per match.
Gatorade and water provided for all and prizes for winners too!
Local USTA Gender leagues are beginning to form, and will run from late April through June. Regional championships will be held July 7-9 for the .5 levels (3.5), and July 21-23 for the .0 levels (3.0, 4.0).
SMCTA hopes to field teams in the following divisions Women's 3.0 (may play in Charles county), 3.5, 4.0, Men's 3.5 and 4.0.

The annual Cove Point Spring Fling is scheduled for April 11-12, 2015 at Cove Point Park. Last day to register is April 8th. Get registered soon if you want to play! See below for registration instructions.
The St. Mary’s County Tennis Association (SMCTA) in conjunction with Operation Warrior Refuge, Inc. (OWR) are co-sponsoring the 2nd annual Aces for Warriors charity tennis tournament on March 15, 2015.
